2025 Mangum Lady Tigers Softball Preview – Presented by JCMH Family Care Clinic

The Mangum Lady Tigers enter the 2025 season with high hopes and a solid foundation to build on after a strong 19-11 campaign last year. Head Coach Genny Stidham is optimistic about the team’s chances and expects the Lady Tigers to win their fair share of games this season.

A key factor in Mangum’s success will be the return of sophomore Paelyn Clark, who made a significant impact as a freshman. Paelyn pitched in half the team’s games and also contributed at third base. She earned District Defensive Player of the Year honors and was named All-Conference Third Baseman. With a year of varsity experience under her belt, Paelyn is poised to take her game to the next level. Her work ethic and determination make her a player to watch this season.

Adding to the team’s depth and power are twin sisters Gracie and Hallie Smith. These young women bring not only talent but also intelligence and coachability to the squad. Their ability to play well together and complement each other makes them a unique and valuable asset. Coach Stidham praises their game smarts and team-first attitude, emphasizing how important it is to have such dependable players on the roster.

Another player to keep an eye on is sophomore Giselle Rowell. Giselle started last season as the team’s second baseman and impressed with her consistent hitting and baseball IQ. She’s a versatile player who can adapt to multiple positions, making her a reliable contributor in any lineup.

With a talented core and a strong pitching staff led by Paelyn and newcomer Jaycee McFerrin, Mangum softball is ready to compete and make noise in the upcoming season. Coach Stidham and the Lady Tigers look forward to building on last year’s success and continuing to grow as a team.
