ALTUS BULLDOGS
Coach: JEREMY REED
4-6
DEFENSE
Defensively, the Bulldogs bring back eight starters from a unit that took significant steps forward last fall. Anchoring the middle is linebacker Francisco Herrera (5-8, 172, Sr.), who led the team with 85 tackles and added four tackles for loss and a sack. Garrett Pierce (6-0, 209, Sr.), with 56 tackles, and Mikey Brown (6-0, 243, Sr.), with 10 tackles for loss, bring pressure up front, while Ray Guzman (5-8, 151, Sr.) adds stability at linebacker with 57 stops. In the secondary, Alexander and Lane each had two interceptions, giving Altus a playmaking duo at cornerback. With experience, athleticism, and momentum, the Bulldogs are aiming to make noise in 2025.
