QUICK HITS:
Altus and Duncan will be in seperate districts and will not play each other for the first time since 1991. The Bulldogs ended a five game losing streak to the Demons last year with a 33-14 win. Altus and Guthrie are in the same district for the first time since 1983. The teams have played six times in the playoffs since then with Guthrie winning four of the games. Altus won the last machtup 35-14 in 2015. Carl Albert and Altus are paired in a district for the first time ever. The Titans have won six in a row over the Bulldogs including the 1995 Class 5A state championship. Altus only win against Carl Albert came in 1995.

DEFENSE
Entering this season, the Bulldog defense is ready to slow down opposing offenses and give their team a
better chance at victory. The backfield is loaded with upperclassmen that will lead the defense. Cornerback Trent Carman (6-1, 175, Sr.) and defensive backs Kashton Lamb (5-9, 165, Jr.), Jamele Alexander (5-9, 160, Jr.), and Gillispie will patrol the secondary and look to shut down the passing game of their opponents. Taking care of things in the middle of the defense will be linebackers Francisco Herrera (5-9, 165, Jr.) and Garrett Pierce (6-0, 195, Jr.). Assistant coaches for the Bulldogs this season are Craig Hubbard, Mike Torres, Jonathan Lamb, John Henson, JP Snapp, Maureese Wren, Colby Webb, Braden Jones, Mark Dabelstein, Jay Benway, Jayden Benway, and Chris Huckins.
