CACHE BULLDOGS

Coach: TANNER THOMPSON

4-6

At Cache, head coach Tanner Thompson enters his third season leading the program with optimism surrounding a young core that gained valuable experience during a 4-6 campaign in 2025. Thompson, now in his ninth year overall with the Bulldogs, saw several underclassmen step into major roles last fall and believes that experience will pay dividends as those players return bigger, stronger, and more confident. A talented junior class is expected to be the foundation of the program moving forward.

Offensively, Cache will continue to run a spread system designed to get its playmakers into space. Junior receiver and Top 100 nominee Kenyon Sweat (6-2, 180) headlines the attack after an explosive sophomore season cut short by injury. Despite appearing in only four games, Sweat totaled 31 receptions for 435 yards and five touchdowns while adding 168 rushing yards and three more scores on 15 carries. Thompson calls him “one of the best athletes in the state” because of his size, speed, and playmaking ability.

Junior running back Johnny Canada (5-10, 170) gives the Bulldogs balance after rushing for 451 yards and five touchdowns on just 51 carries while adding a receiving touchdown. Up front, seniors Gregory Quoetone, Lewis Hill, Tazer Phillips, and Teegan Stidham provide experience and physicality along the offensive line, with Stidham also contributing at fullback and tight end.

Defensively, Cache returns six starters in its 3-4 scheme. Quoetone anchors the defensive front after recording 33 tackles, three tackles for loss, and three blocked PATs last season. Senior linebacker Garrett Graham adds leadership in the middle, while Sweat contributes in the secondary. Junior defensive backs Kooper Toves and Kanon McCracken combined for six interceptions and 10 pass breakups, giving the Bulldogs speed and ball skills in the back end.

The coaching staff is also excited about young lineman Kooper ElKouri, who started the final four games as a freshman and is viewed as a future cornerstone up front. Senior Kase Fourkiller has set the tone as the program’s Character Counts athlete through his leadership, toughness, and work ethic. With Sweat healthy and a seasoned junior class returning, Cache believes it is positioned to take another step forward in 2026.
