VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?

Kenya: I am a junior at Hollis High School and I play basketball and run track.

VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?
 Kenya: Making it to state in track the last two years.

VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?
 Kenya: Don’t be scared, have confidence, and be there for everyone.

VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
 Kenya: Go 100 or go home.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?
 Kenya: Mrs. Salinas because she’s chill and always helps me with my work.

VYPE: Who inspires you?
 Kenya: My mother, because she is a hardworking and independent woman.

VYPE: If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
 Kenya: Invisibility.

VYPE: What is at the top of your bucket list?
 Kenya: Traveling by plane because I’ve never been on one.

 Kenya: First, I thank God always. I wouldn’t be where I am now without him. I thank my coach for being a great coach and for pushing me to be where I am now. I thank my mom and my sister for always being there for me. And lastly, my teammates for being there and making the sport fun.
