KINGSTON REDSKINS

Coach: TAGGART LOCKHART

2024-25 Record: 18-10

The Kingston Redskins enter the new season fresh off an impressive 18–10 campaign and with heightened expectations under Head Coach Taggart Lockhart, now in his first year leading the program. With four returning starters and a roster anchored by experienced upperclassmen, Kingston is positioned to build on its recent success. The team has advanced to the area tournament in each of the past two seasons, and with a strong core returning, the Redskins are aiming to push even deeper this year.

Leading the charge is senior guard Brock Rumer (6-2, Sr.), who had 13 points, four rebounds, and three assists last season. He is one of the premier players in the area and a two-time first-team all-conference selection. A four-year starter, Rumer brings an elite combination of basketball IQ, shot creation, composure, and defensive leadership. His ability to elevate his teammates and control the game on both ends makes him the anchor of Kingston’s attack.

In the frontcourt, the Redskins return two major contributors in Hayden Seeney (6-7, Sr.) and Blane Henry (6-4, Jr.), who combined to average 18 points and 11 rebounds a year ago. Seeney provides a dominant interior presence with his shot-blocking ability, rebounding strength, and improved offensive touch. Henry complements him with toughness, mobility, and finishing ability around the rim. Together, they form one of the most reliable and productive forward duos in the region. Junior forward Jack Hensley (6-4, Jr.) adds depth, size, and versatility, offering Kingston another strong rotational piece in the paint.

The backcourt is further strengthened by Lander Burkhalter (6-1, Jr.), a dynamic guard who plays with confidence, defends at a high level, and brings valuable scoring off the dribble. Senior guards Hudson Everhart (5-10, Sr.) and Parks Ratzlaff (5-10, Sr.), who returns after missing last season due to injury, provide leadership, steady guard play, and the ability to stretch the floor.

With experience, depth, and a proven scoring trio returning, the Redskins enter the season with the tools to compete at a high level. If the team continues to build its chemistry and maintain its defensive intensity, Kingston is poised to remain a postseason threat and take another step forward this year.
