KINGSTON REDSKINS
Coach: BRAD HILL
10-2
OFFENSE
The Kingston Redskins are riding high coming off a 10-win season and return several key pieces on both sides of the ball. For head coach Brad Hill, the potential is clear, and the excitement is building. “We are excited about the outlook of this season,” said Hill. “We return several key players on each side of the ball. Should be an exciting season.”
Leading the charge is senior quarterback and inside linebacker Reid Patterson (5-10, 190, Sr.). A true dual-threat weapon, Patterson threw for 1,963 yards and 28 touchdowns while adding 834 yards and 10 more scores on the ground last season. His 2,797 total yards and 38 touchdowns are a testament to his impact and leadership.
He’ll have plenty of help in the form of senior Parks Ratzlaff (5-10, 200, Sr.), a do-it-all playmaker who rushed for 579 yards and seven touchdowns, caught 19 passes for 422 yards and six scores, and even lined up at wildcat QB. “Parks is a great all-around football player,” Hill said. “He can play almost any position on either side of the ball.”
Junior Ty Jones (6-2, 195, Jr.) adds another vertical threat after a breakout sophomore campaign with 354 yards and seven touchdowns. The offensive line is anchored by junior Blane Henry (6-2, 235, Jr.), a multi-sport standout who starts on both sides of the line.
DEFENSE
The Redskins are just as tough on defense, anchored by a seasoned front and physical playmakers. Senior Levi Koonce (6-1, 225, Sr.) brings pressure off the edge, while junior James Trout (6-1, 210, Jr.) mans the interior alongside sophomore nose Landon Burgess (6-1, 270, So.), who brings impressive size and upside.
On the edge, linebacker Jake Hofferber (6-2, 185, Sr.) and senior cornerback Hudson Everhart (5-10, 165, Sr.) return as experienced contributors.
Henry will also contribute at nose guard, making his presence felt in the trenches. “Blane will be a three-year starter on both sides of the ball. He has a tremendous work ethic and a great upside,” said Hill.
With proven leaders, two-way athletes, and a culture of toughness, Kingston looks poised to take another big step in 2025.
