Chickasha’s Trusdon Moss – Football Spotlight – Presented by Sooner Nutrition

Sophomore Trusdon Moss is already making a strong impact at Chickasha High School, both on and off the field. A dedicated student-athlete, Trusdon is involved in football, powerlifting, track, and fishing, while also serving on the school’s Leadership Committee.

On the football field, he plays middle linebacker and running back, positions that demand grit and discipline, qualities he shows in every game. “Being a good teammate motivates me to push hard and show up,” he says. His favorite highlight in his career so far is “Starting my first Friday night game as a freshman. The adrenaline is something I’ll never forget.”

Trusdon’s success comes from hard work and consistency, lessons learned from his biggest role model, his dad. “He teaches me to be strong and stand up for what I believe in,” Trusdon says. In the classroom, Mrs. Varner (Blanchard) left a lasting impression by always believing in him when he needed it most.

Competition fuels Trusdon. He doesn’t focus on beating one team but loves facing tough opponents. “They make me earn every play, and I walk away knowing what I need to work on.” In practice, Labraun Abram pushes him to improve. “He’s competitive and makes me better.”

Outside of school, Trusdon enjoys fishing and follows Ben Milliken on social media for tips and inspiration. “He’s a great fisherman, and I learn a lot from him.”

Balancing school and athletics takes strong time management, something Trusdon is already capitalizing on. He takes pride in representing Chickasha. “It means a lot to put on my uniform. When kids recognize me at local camps, it makes me feel good.”

Looking ahead, Trusdon has clear goals: “I want to go to college, play football, and be successful.” With his focus, heart, and leadership, there’s no doubt Trusdon’s on the right path to success on and off the field!
