Q&A with Elk City’s Jeremiah Jackson – Presented by Battin Barn

VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?

Jeremiah: I am a junior at Elk City, and I am on the football, basketball, and track teams.

VYPE: What has it taken to be successful in your sports?

Jeremiah: A lot of hard work and dedication.

VYPE: Is there an opponent that you enjoy beating the most?

Jeremiah: Weatherford, because they talk the most before games and during.

VYPE: What has been the highlight moment of your career?

Jeremiah: My pick-six on the first play of the game against one of our rivals.

VYPE: What does it mean to you to represent your school and community when you play?

Jeremiah: It means a lot to be able to represent Elk City and the community that supports me.

VYPE: Which teammate do you enjoy working against the most in practice?

Jeremiah: Slade Josey, because we both push each other to be great.

VYPE: What motivates you?

Jeremiah: I want to be able to make life easier for my family and just want to be great.

VYPE: Who are some of your biggest influences or role models?

Jeremiah: My mom because she pushes me to be the best I can be and supports me no matter what.

VYPE: What teacher has had the most significant impact on your life? How?

Jeremiah: Coach Hamm showed me how to be a good person with a good attitude every day.
