VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?
Kenya: I am a sophomore at Hollis High School. I play basketball and run track.
VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?
Kenya: I would say making it to state for track in my freshman year.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?
Kenya: I would say to just always have positive energy and be there for everyone at any time.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?
Kenya: Definitely my teammate, Kaedynce Theademan. She has so much energy and positivity, no matter how any game went, she always hyped me up.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
Kenya: My mom because she’s always been a hard worker, and I know if I work as hard as she does, I could accomplish my dreams.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?
Kenya: My favorite would be Mrs. Dowse because she’s a great teacher and she’s always been there for me.

Kenya: I wanna thank God first because I couldn’t have done anything without him, I thank my coach for always being there and pushing me to be the player I am now, I thank my mom and sister for being so supportive, and lastly, I thank my team for being the best team I could ever have.
VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?
Kenya: Spaghetti
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
Kenya: A lot of good advice has been given to me, but i would say either always give 100% no matter what or play your hardest all the time because you never know when your last game will be.
