VYPE: What grade are you in and what sports do you play?
Cameron: I am a senior at Elk City High School. I play baseball.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade?
Cameron: My favorite teacher is Mrs. Cooper from my fifth grade year, because she pushed
me to get better at anything I do.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you?
Cameron: A teammate that has left the biggest impression on me is Cade Torrez. He was
always playing at the best of his ability every time he was on the field, but also the way he
acted off of the field.
VYPE: Who inspires you?
Cameron: My dad inspired me to get better because of all the hard work he puts in to help
me as a player and as his son.
VYPE: Which professional athlete do you look up to?
Cameron: I look up to Mookie Betts because he works hard everyday which has led him to
one of the best that has ever played the game of baseball.
VYPE: What has your sport taught you that makes you a better person?
Cameron: Baseball has taught me to never give up on anything in life and to be a team
player
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Cameron: My favorite part about representing Elk City is the way I act around people and
other teams. It shows we are a good team and a good high school.
VYPE: What is the best advice that anyone has given you?
Cameron: The best advice someone has given me was to always follow your dream no
matter how hard it is and never let anybody take it away from you.
VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take
with you?
Cameron: A place I would go on vacation is the Philippines. I would bring my family.
