“ ”The Wolverines bring back a solid group from last season and they look to make some noise this season. Head coach Chevis Smith says that they will see some new opponents this season but he is looking forward to it. “This year we will be a lot more mature, returning 12 out of 15 guys from last season,” Smith said. “We have six seniors and seven juniors. We have a pretty good young core as well. Looking forward to playing hard and competing in a new classification this upcoming season.” Tavaris Deans will be a guy that should have a big season for the Wolverines. He is a hard worker and is always ready to compete. A traditional point guard, Eddie Hughley III does a solid job of handling the ball and getting it to the right person. He is a smart basketball player. Pene Vaisagote and Anthony Patrick will both be at shooting guard this season. They bring a lot of excitement to the floor and will both make big contributions this season.
