Currently a senior, Dallas plays the position of shooting guard in basketball, and plays the positions of pitcher, first base, and outfield for the Navajo High School Indians. Most would consider Dallas a veteran of both basketball and baseball, having played both sports since he was only 5 years old.

Dallas is proud to represent his school and his community every time he plays. Dallas explained, “It means a lot and anytime I step on the field or court. I always want to perform to the best of my ability, as well as showing good sportsmanship as an athlete.”

As far as a role model, Dallas looks toward faith and family. “I put God first because without him in your life you are nothing. I would also say my family is another role model because they push me to be the best. I have learned to never take anything for granted because no one is promised tomorrow.”

For Dallas, there are two memories that have stood out the most so far during his career as a high school student athlete. Dallas recalled, “Those memories were making it to state in the spring and the fall of this year. and then being the first team in 40 years to make it to state in the fall.”

In addition to playing basketball and baseball for Navajo High School, Dallas is also a member of The National Honor Society.

After graduating from high school, Dallas plans on pursuing higher education. Dallas stated, “I hope to be playing baseball at the next level, while also attending college.”
