VYPE: What grade are you in this year and how long have you played football?
Jakoby: I am a sophomore and I’ve played football for 4 years.
VYPE:What do you do in pre-game to get mentally prepared for the game?
Jakoby: Put in my airpods and listen to Brent Faiyaz, J.Cole, and the GOAT, Rod Wave.
VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade and why?
Jakoby: My favorite teacher is Mr. Fischer from my 8th grade year. He was my math teacher.
VYPE: What accomplishment or memory are you most proud of?
Jakoby: Beating Tuttle my 7th grade year.
VYPE: What is your favorite part about representing your high school as an athlete?
Jakoby: The pressure that it puts on me. I feel like I have to show what I can do.
VYPE: What is your all-time favorite meal?
Jakoby: My favorite meal has to be the food my friend brings to lunch that his mom makes.
VYPE: How do you define leadership? What do you do to example leadership with your team?
Jakoby:Being able to be positive everywhere and helping everyone even if it’s off the field. Some of the ways I bring leadership is by hyping everyone up at practice.
VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?
Jakoby: It has to be Cy Scammahorn. Last year when I was a freshman, CJ and him were the first people to come up to me and they just want you to feel welcome. He’s just always helping me get better in any way I can.

Jakoby: I would like to thank all my teammates, they really help me through everything. Some specific people are CJ Knickson, Cy Scammahorn, Talon Scott, Kashen Skinner, and he’s not my teammate anymore but Cooper Whitetail. I would also like to say my sister Jaryn, she’s there for me anytime I need her and I wouldn’t be here without her.
